  1. As in title thinking of it for my 821...

  2. Yep puig one of the smallest 35gr.

  3. Do they work well Pratz?

  4. Are they a 7/8" fitting on the new monsters?

  5. They have both sizes in one box it fits nice...

  6. Decent view?

  7. Haha sorry just realised title should have read 'bar end mirrors'! I've opened the Guiness sorry!

  8. Just fitted some rizoma spy r replica's for under £30 the pair.

Fits well. Just needed to file a spacer down took 5 mins and sits flush. Well made billet aluminium.

  9. Thanks:wink:

  10. Looks good and great price. Can you still adjust the centre joint once fitted so you can rotate them in for tight spots?

  11. Yes they adjust easily and can sit at any angle. There are two Allen key bolts and you have them set as tight or loose as you want.

Ive mine set so they are quite stiff but still easier enough to fold etc. Mine are in the forward position so I should have to tuck them in for filtering etc

  12. Mine came with one fitted, I'm pleasantly surprised TBH. After years of looking at my own shoulders on sports bikes this one actually gives me a view behind!

  13. i really want some CRG arrow bar end mirrors for my Monster 821, i think they are one of the better looking ones available. Problem is they are pretty much only stocked in US from what i can see so postage is pretty expensive and so are the mirrors. £80 each !!!

  14. The other recent thread on bar end mirrors has several links to high quality alternatives from ebay, including CRG style,

  15. I've just put the same ones on my 796 and in terms of visibility and aesthetics they're a massive improvement over the originals. Much easier to adjust while you're riding if needed as well!

  16. I ordered these same mirrors last week Friday, arrived today . I'm impressed. I wrapped the smaller of the two spacers with PTFE tape to give a tight fit as the monster handle bar is between sizes.

There is one fundamental difference between these and real rizoma spy r's though; there is no ball joint on the mirror arm so adjustment is slightly less flexible, but by mounting at a slight angle I could adjust in/out and up/down.

On test ride this afternoon vision is OK, set left one up to view mostly behind and right one to cover outside lane. Good coverage for small mirrors (convex). Didn't move from set position despite speed and bumpy roads.

I wouldn't say ideal for lane splitting, but I live in the country so not an issue for me.

Overall great value for < £30 and a great way to try out bar ends. Thanks Pabs for the tip.
