If I were in the market to purchase I would be happy to pay that little extra for the white. It is a pearl almost metallic white, I am sure Ducati have name for it, same as the 899 is it not. Yes ascetically I would part with the extra. It is a base colour to accessorise, if they did a white 1299, I would have bought it over the red, but that is me.
Somes bikes wont be updated for the new regs at all. I suspect that next autumn will see the demise of the majority of the supersport bikes on sale.
not really a thought the red would be more being the default colour of ducati, but a would pay it just think the akros seem to blend in better on the white plus the red wheels look mint,
Is the 'a' an accent thing or is the i key broken? Or is a a friend of yours you are speaking on behalf of?
I like the 44teeth website. It looks to me like they are purposefully avoiding listing out a bunch of specs from the manufacturers as that's what all the lazy clone websites around the web already do. Is this because they don't sell in big enough numbers to warrant upgrading ?

Unfortunately I don't think it will fit. Isn't the 1299/959 a 60mm system as opposed to a puny 57mm on the 899/1199?
I know the 1299 system is a phat ass mo-fo as I have just fitted one. Cant comment on the 959 system as my eyes sting when I look at its chuffers
Not rushing, but have been seriously looking at one. Dealers aren't budging a penny on the list price of the bike. Maybe they will have to at some point! Dealers tell me they have sold a few, but there are stocks of them I'm being told and can ride one away as early as next week if I want. :Woot:
don't worry they will be giving them away soon , think my local dealers got orders on two, don't think this bike will keep ducati afloat,
