  1. Nice, suits it well. Was it expensive?

  2. £400. I think a bargain considering the condition.

  4. It's cleaned up well. I saw it on eBay and thought it a bargain. I would be worried about how those stomp grips would come off that aluminium which put me off a bit. Seems they came off ok. I think it would have sold for more had it been cleaned up and gleaming like it is now. Still, it worked out better for you, you've bagged a good deal there!:upyeah:

  5. Defo a bargain! Well done. Just about to fit the same to my 1198s but just didn't look right on a red bike so it's off to be painted.... Hopefully look the biz when it's done. Will keep you posted..

  8. Yeah it does, but mine has the 1098r number boards so am going with that theme. Hopefully back in about 3 weeks..

  9. Nice @GFFM, have you taken it out for a run yet? Be interested to hear of the performance.

  10. @CWhizz , did you have your number boards painted on? Got any pix?

  11. No, they (decals) came fitted with the bike when I bought it. But, when the tank comes back, i might be tempted to have them sprayed on depending on how bad the tank makes them look! They're in pretty good nick tho and at least they can be removed if I ever sell and the new owner doesn't want them. I have pics, but don't show boards well. They are white with the gold stripe tho.

    • Thanks Thanks x 1
  12. Better than a stock 1098, as it is with a new map and was tuned on a dynamometer. They have done a good job!

  15. The seat for one. Is it comfy, looks it? What brand is it?

  16. The fuel cap looks good too, what one is that?

  17. Hi mate, yes the seat is comfy, it's a "zero gravity"

  18. Don't know but looks official, it's got the Ducati logo and I think it's laid over the top of the original.

  19. I really like the ali tanks.

Maybe some have already been posted but I took some shots of Shakeys bike at the MCN show in London the other week. Seems the standard thing with the Panigale is to move the tank back for weight distribution.

  20. Saw that in a previous post but it's either a mock up or a test mule, the full on race bike is quite different, under the skin most of the superbikes are very different to stock and your right in that they have a completely different tank arrangement to centralise mass and probably a few variations of those as well, at a track day last year Luke Mossey was testing out 3 different shapes & sizes for his ZX10 nearly all of the fuel looked to be under his arse and the "tank" was just a fibreglass/carbon cover
