Thanks, yes they have that reputation for sure. I grew up with Honda so the Ducati experience is new to me but it's not let me down yet. It's good to have both though.
Yes, I honestly thought there was something wrong with the Ducati the first time I rode it! Having never ridden a V-Twin before it felt very strange especially at low revs; getting used to it now though and loving it. I hope you like the Africa Twin and I'm sure it will see you good over the winter.
