I got out on the bike again today for a little while. Two days in a row! Up here that's unheard of in August never mind Feb. It was pretty cold - the ice warning icon stayed on so I guess 3C or less - but I have good gear so no problem. On my way back I stopped for a newspaper and stuffed it down the front of my jacket but I mustn't have fastened the velcro up the front because my jacket flew open on the dual carriageway. :Wideyed: Luckily there was a lay-by about a mile up the road so I pulled over and sorted the jacket zip out. I now know what a good job my jacket was doing in keeping me warm.
I was in Abbotsbury last September on the Mutley. I was staying in Devon and took a run along the jurassic coast as far as Portland Bill. Dorset is very pretty.
Better day today, managed to get a star thingy for the screen bolts and bought a nice industrial pop rivet gun on route to Micheldever to pick up the Racetech RRs which are a nice looking tyre with a progressive profile. Looking forward to trying them out when the Racetech Interacts get worn out. Slightly frustrating, the Wrapper got a miss matched green on the nose fairing and mudguard so it looks odd. Pleased with the overall effect and it will look right after he redoes the job. What do people think ? Andy
Went to work this morning, came home and had a bath, then a snooze, made the most Italian cup of coffee ever  and off for a Chinese in a bit.
I snowboarded around Avoriaz for 3 hours this morning and came back to the chalet to pack. This afternoon we've been in the pub watching the rugby
NEVER...and I mean :Stop: NEVER google Ducati Porn :Bucktooth::Snaphappy: ....I thought it would make a great website domain to sell Ducati Farkles..... I WAS SO WRONG!!!:Jawdrop::Facepalm::Eggonface:
Put the remapped ECU back in the bike and fired her up! Now officially matched to the Termis. Went to reset the TPS and service light and couldn't as my bluetooth OBD unit is buggered. New one on the way....
Walked the dog this morning along the side of the brook, was raining but ok, walked her there this afternoon, what a difference, I carried her for quite a distance wading through water nearly up to the top of my wellies! She is a small Jack Russell and would have had to swim and possibly got swept away in the brook which had burst its banks. Goodness knows what it will be like tomorrow and it is still raining! Tough Pilates class today.
Cheers Merv. Do you get out to Loomies? Let me know if you're out that why with the HP2 come the spring.
I googled it... thanks brain. Since when has curiosity ever been a good thing when someone tells you NOT to google something. Go ahead readers... maybe you too should be in on this. It can't be that bad. Google it. Hahaha
Had a blazing row with the wife today after she accused me of having no sense of direction. I was so annoyed, I packed my bags and right
At this point I think it necessary to point out that the previous post has absolutely nothing to do with me!
