So what have you done today..?

  1. In an attempt to appear younger I've decided that rather than making an effort on diet/exercise/expensive face creams I'm just going to use really bad grammar, punctuation and spelling. Please don't correct me. I appreciate you're supporting in me mater.

  2. If you want to carry this off I think you'll have to stop using apostrophes or you'll come across like Stephen Fry trying to talk street.

  3. Went out on Triumph (Sprint RS) on Friday as ST4 awaiting treatment. Lovely ride out in the sun but was cold! Yesterday, changed oil, oil filter and fitted new lithium battery to Duc. The JML battery doesn't come with any padding to fit as the Marelli does but tie wraps and a bit of foam sorted it. After fitting battery bike wouldn't start but all the other electrics seemed to work OK. Sat and scratched my head for a while and got a bit worried, then checked and found side stand was down!!! :) (old age really doesn't help) After solving that problem the bike turned over with a lot more 'oomph'. Getting used now to fairing removal and now want to sort out suspension settings. Any body got any suggestions for ST4 settings for 14 and half stone rider?? Front and Rear preload, compression and rebound??

  4. Hand washed the Multistrada this morning and as the weather was fine if a little cold, decided to blow the cobwebs away. Ran out through Basingstoke to Alton and on to Loomies. I love my bike, I'm no hooligan but I enjoyed a little bit of discrete hooning (not Scott Reading style, too inflexible now). Sausage and bacon roll and a quick squint at the bikes. Saw a really pretty 1198 that might have been an sp and the dirtiest Panigale I think I have ever seen. Respect to the guy for riding in such shitty conditions but its going to take hours to get it clean. Slobbing now waiting on Carole's return from South Wales after she competed in the Welsh Open Kettle Bell championship yesterday. Got a PB with 108 reps with 16kg in 10 minutes so she is well pumped and I'm dead proud. Andy

  6. This morning I got up at 5.45am CET, showered, had breakfast and was picked up at 7am and taken to Geneva airport. Finally got home at 2pm GMT and I've watched the rugby, the footy and had a fantastic meal made for me by SWMBO.

I think I'm on a promise tonight too :upyeah:

  8. Made me laugh reading the first two words, and wondering what other body parts you considered using, before settling on specifying hands!

  10. I had hoped to establish by inference that no hose or jet wash wand was used in this most difficult and challenging of tasks .......... and clearly failed.

  12. I sent a text to my wife at lunchtime, "Hi babe - I'm at the pub with some lads, please try and get all my dirty washing done and make sure my tea is sorted before I return."

After ten minutes I sent another text, "Babe I forgot to tell you that I got an increase in my salary at the end of the month so I'm getting you a new car"

    She text back,"Omg really?"

I replied, "Nope, I just wanted to make sure you got my first message."

  18. Not sure but I think you were a bit of a hero though, holding a little dog?

  19. I've been known to do that.

Hold a little dog, I mean, not the hero thing.
