Quick review on the carbon x 802 rr that I recently purchased. Used it for the first time today. Very impressed with it. Great fit. Comfy. Good visor system. Overall really pleased.
I just got the carbon X-802-RR as well and couldn't be happier. Looks the puppies parts , fits better than any helmet I have owned previously, beautifully made and finished, lots of cooling vents, came with a dark visor and 2 pinlocks. The visor system is awesome !! Not sure of the difference between the 802R and 802RR , except mine has a green lining ?
I've just ordered a Moto GP carbon 802r, mine has the red lining, I'm guessing the rr with the green lining is the latest model.
I smashed my 802R to F%*K last year in my biggest ever accident (helicopters, long stay, rebuilt bones, internal damage etc) Helmet did it's job perfectly before crash and obviously in the crash. No hesitation in recommending and will definitely buy another.
Hi Dave, What sizes have you got, I wear a small in the shoei GT Air and is perfect. I'm looking to get a new lid and got it down to and all in carbon, the X-LITE X-802R, X-LITE X-802RR, Shark Race R Pro or the AGV Corsa is some form of Rossi colours So if you have some smalls in the X-LITE's and of so how much, what's the difference between X-802R and RR. As Iv said Iv not made my mind up yet on what lid I'll get but if it's a great deal and you have them i would find it hard not to get. Cheers D
Darren. I have 1 Puro plain carbon in small 1 x Puro Sport in small 1 x Checa replica in small Call me at the shop for the best prices on these. Cheers Dave
Thats the one I have, yeah very good lid nice and light and the interior is plusher than lids twice its price.
Hi Dave, sorry Iv not phoned but tried a mate of a friend of mine that has a 802r helmet and said I could try it on a ride so thought I would try one before I got in phoned you. He said it's a lovely helmet in guality and looks but doesn't use it much for one reason, the noise and Iv got to say I agree, found it really comfortable and great fit and quality but found it really noisy anything over 40mph so I'm going to go for the Sharks race r pro. Thanks for your time and getting back to me and answering my questions Regard D
After a new track lid, heard good reports on these but what is the field of vision like when you have you head buried behind the screen?
