Hmm... Seems to depend which one. I have a 2002 ie, and I sometimes wonder whether this isn't the least desirable Ducati. They're certainly very inexpensive (so no excuse not to buy one). The ie is arguably a better bike than the carby version (the fuel injection makes performance better/smoother and is more reliable; the frame isn't prone to cracking near the headstock, suspension is arguably better - and so on), but the Terblanche styling is unconventional. I don't think it's the ugliest Ducati (the Paso gets that vote from me), but it's, lets say, less popular. And mine's not red... I do love it, though. I decided at the out that I wanted a 900ss. Had wanted one ever since I saw the Mike Hailwood Replica when I was a kid. No regrets at all. Ducbird's question is a reasonable one...
