Just saying hello. Been around the forum a little while after deciding I needed a 999. Got loads of helpful info and bought one from Italia Moto. I have to say Phil and his guys were great and Im very happy with it. BUT it does seem to have starting/battery issues. Oh well all part of the Ducati experience I expect it will get better with use.

The seat is padded gel (I think) then covered in alcantera (whatever that is) Not to everyone's taste but very comfy and I imagine quite expensive when it was done.

Hi, I had problem starting my 999 when i first got it. Was so use to jap bikes and never looked at the owners book. just kept my finger on the starter with choke on. Dummy. Got the hang of it now !!! Welcome to the forum Dave and may well see you about as i live in Stamford
