Just finished rebuilding the front calipers on the NC29 so Carole can brake safely now and then decided to heat proof tape the inside of the new carbon catch tray. The 54mm pipes look far too close for comfort. Memo to self, remember to pack the fire extinguisher in the tool kit for Almeria. Andy

I've been a bit quiet as I've been finishing a novel. Well, I say "novel". I suppose it is, just. It would probably come in at about 160 pages odd if published. It's a fable about Santa Claus in the modern world. I have no idea if it's any good, or a pile of shite. It depends from day to day when I'm re-reading it. I've now pinged the draft out to a few friends who might possibly appreciate it. It's the longest bit of sustained work I've done for decades. Quite exhausting. I'm happy to have crossed "write a novel" off the to-do list.
NICE one Glid, keep at it Couple of years back I wrote a collectors guide to Corgi Batmobiles of the early 2000s (Gotham City 43rd Street Motor Museum) self published on Blurb. It sold 9 copies, not life changing but I was very pleased!!! It's not an easy task Glid, so be proud of yourself!
Today, work wise, I've presented a winner of a raffle we donated to, their official prize. I've also completed the first draft of a business plan I've been working on. And I've booked my two bikes in for a service. Oh and I had a protracted discussion/argument with a pension company about their shite administrative systems. Arseholes!
