Going to be out on the bike first thing in the morning if I get up on time then Sunday afternoon.got to make the most of it before winter fully sets in. Ha this morning I fired up the bike to warm it up and made a little kid cry with the sound of it.the mother just gave me a smile and picked up the kid and walked by
Yep. Channel tunnel tomorrow morning, quick jaunt to Ypres for the Last Post at Menen Gate, Meal, B & B, then visit the Flanders Fields museum on Sunday morning before riding back home via tunnel again. Simples!!

It's good to see a photograph of the original wooden memorial on your Great Uncle's grave,before they were changed to the concrete headstones.What is the name of the cemetery Arquebus?My uncle George was killed at Paaschendale in November 1917 but sadly he has no grave but is recorded on a memorial at the Tyne Cot cemetery.

Going to a place called willingham Woods, (Market Rasen ) its just a big lay by /car park but quite a few bikers gather there, the roads getting to there are awesome, and its only a few miles from cadwell Park, be there in the early afternoon.
Nearest to a ride out was getting to rugby match and back (the long way, of course). fortunately, the rain and hailstones held off until the game started, and was done with 20 mins to go, so didn't get battered on the bike. pete
