there you go Due to a terminal diagnosis of a very good friend this uk match number genuine 350 is available. I restored the bike less than 500 miles ago. A quick run down is, bodykit fully painted (fuel tank is perfect inside), frame, swing arm re painted not powder coat, rear shock re-furbished to as new standard, forks have perfect stantions, seats perfect and original, as its an "01" series bike its fitted with the correct carbs, barrells, fork legs, swing arm pivot, calipers. New bridgestone tyres were fitted along with new tubes, front calipers rebuilt using green stuff pads, new chain and sprockets , new wheels bearings, the bike came with a rebuilt crank shaft, new gearbox bearings were fitted, along with all new engine seals, vapour blasted casings (no damage and a matched number pair), rebore with new pistons (1.5mm o/s), new cables, new h/d clutch, genuine uk speedo casing, one genuine key fits all locks, plus various other new parts as and were needed. The bike has covered 24000 miles on the clocks (just over 400 since build, the bike still needs running in finally, starts easily, sounds lovely but will need a gearbox oil change and set up/cable adjust at 500 miles. A few things to mention, the bikes not bolt perfect, the owner wanted stainless fixings in the side casings, and a couple of other minor fixings. The mirrors are pattern original looking items as we could not find any mint original mirrors when it was being restored, indicators are genuine but have a couple of marks on them, and last but not least the exhuast pipes although were professionally painted they need doing again, they look to have re-acted ? ? in a couple of places. Thats about it really, 12 month mot as from today. Im dealing with the sale for obvious reasons, any questions or info please contact me directly. £5000 is the asking price
I've been on that forum for years and every reasonably priced bike gets sold as soon as the advert appears. I put a wanted ad on for a N1 or 2 and somebody replied offereing me one which would have been ideal but lo and behold it suddenly got sold to a mate who lived just up the road etc......
