Hello From London And Probably A Future Diavel Owner

  1. Hi all- test rode a 2015 Diavel Carbon Saturday with full Temi. OMG. Currently riding a BMW 2014 R1200RT, commute into london and back daily. The R1200rt has been amazing - not the slimmest for filtering but has worked surprisingly well, is comfortable has heated seats and grips and of course luggage. Extremely comfortable and no chain of course. I was very happy with it until rode the Diavel. Im in love so currently looking to chop the RT in for a Diavel Dark with full temi. Completely crazy as will use as year round commuter as well as weekend bike. But hey I don't think I have grinned like that in my helmet for years! Who is going to talk me out of it?

  2. If you want it Dave, go get it :)

  3. Hello and welcome to the forum :Angelic:

  4. I test rode a Diavel two years ago : perfectly know what you're talking about mate.. only thing that stopped me was the price.

You want it? get it! There's not talking you out of it...

  5. You know you want it so hurry up and get it
Red would have been better bit I will forgive you ;)

Hello and welcome into the mad house from near wales

  6. I knew you were almost Welsh :Nailbiting:

  7. 240/45 ZR17 Pirelli Diablo Rosso II......... someone might correct me but I think that's the only tyre available for the rear..... Don't know what you're running on the RT but might not be the same fun factor come February.... just a thought!

Get the Diavel and a scrambler (you may have to grow a beard and wear lumberjack shirts if you don't already do so) for winter ;)

  8. Yes be afraid very afraid :Cigar:

  9. Good point! Winter sucks.

  10. yep, Pirelli are the only ones making a tyre that fits the Diavel rear, some rumour of Michelin making one but so far it’s not available to the dealers, but hey, you'll only get 4k out of it anyway so you don't have to wait long, just hope the Michelin lasts a bit longer

  11. I know this is an old post but I am new to the forum and just gauging peoples view on things. Did you ever buy the Diavel. I am in a similar boat as you though I have not ridden a bike in 12 years (family stuff).
So am looking at getting a Diavel dark in the next 2 to 3 months both for the weekend and for commuting though not sure I would be doing that in the depths of winter so would be good to get an idea from a newbie Duacti owner
