I am at the point where i am going to move my 2014 Multistrada 1200 Pikes peak, and thought i would see if there was any interest here. It was registered 5th April 2014 and has a Ducati Warranty running until 4th April 2017 so poses very little risk to the next owner. It has been maintained by WM Snell at Alton and has a full Ducati service history, in addition to this I have also dropped the oil between Services with these being at the halfway point between Ducati services - all Oils used have been the Shell Advance Ultra as recommended. I have never had any mechanical issues at all except for a slight brake judder, this turned out to be a brake disc that was replaced under warranty (both front discs replaced). I replaced the chain with a DID X ring at 8,000 miles because I felt it was noisy, I didn't change the sprockets as I couldn't see any wear at all in them. (I think the OE chain is produced to a price and isn't really up to the job), I think the new owner will see at least 15,000 miles out of the chain and sprockets. Tyres are the superb Brigestone BT030's, they have around 1,000 miles on them and are a superb tyre for the Multi as they are great in the wet and dry (Ron Haslem has them on his Honda Race School Bikes and after riding a 'blade in torrential rain and then reading the reviews I had to have some) The bike has covered 12,500 miles and has only ever been used as a plaything so it has never seen the worst of the weather and certainly never seen any salt as it goes into hibernation long before the gritters come out. it is in very good condition with no marks except for a bit of wear to the exhaust heat shield (they all do that sir) The bike is completely standard and was supplied with the following genuine Ducati options. - Heated Grips. - Front fog lamps - Electric fuel cap (swapped out to the latest version last Sept.) - Ducati Panniers (red) - Ducati pannier bags - Ducati Top box (Red) - A ducati fitted cover. - Ducati rear LED indicators (they are smaller, brighter and no bulbs) - Ducati leather key cover/ring - Ducati key for the panniers (so the proper key always stayed zipped up in a pocket) It also has - Evotech Radiator Guard - Evotech Cylinder head guard - A steel wheel nut socket under the seat - A 1jak bike stand (brilliant) - A indoor bike cover (yes it has 2 covers the OEM one and this one) - A spare Pillion seat with a small hole in it (oops) - both the carbon and touring screens (touring is fitted) - Standard multi end can (the termi is fitted) - standard rear indicators As you can see it is a lovely kit that is everything you could want if you have a hankering for a multistrada. I am looking for £11,750 for everything listed above, if you want to knock me down then I won't want to let all the extra kit go with it. Anyway, its raining so I will post some pictures later when the rain stops.
The slow reveal, if anyone wants anything specific then post here or message me and i will sort it out.
Great machine, well priced with some lovely extra's.:Hungry: Already made an offer :Angelic::Sorry:, so come on people get your wallets out and found this lovely lady a new home. I'm watching this one...:Watching:
Because the nice mr Aircon knew I would probably decline his offer which was nicely put but a bit too far away from the asking price. We had a nice chat though and whilst we didn't do the deal we have left it that either of us can go back if we think that we might like to revisit it.
My number 3 Pikes Peak....anyone want to know if they are worth the extra money....ask me? :Shifty: :Watching:
