Hypermotard 821 Sc-project Cr-t Slip-on

  1. So bought it, together with air filter and their AFM unit.

So far not sure what AFM unit is doing except changing the temp I can see on dash.
However with it you should allegedly be able to make bike run richer. Recommended setting of 8 out of 10 is same as 7. Will try 6 later on but from reading about many do not see much if any difference with or without AFM. We shell see.

Can itself is well made, very light and looks great.
I did remove the servo motor so flapper valve is open. not sure it was good idea as it is now very loud for idling bike.

ECU has to electornically lower the revs so pattern is RPM: 1200 - ok, then 1300 cuts down to 1200, 1400 cuts down to 1200, 1600 cuts down to 1200 then stays there for about 5s and repeats. Allegedly cause there is no servo so gasses escape to easily.

    As for noise judge yourself:

  2. I fitted the CR-T and yep , she is loud.
I ended up changing it for an Akra as I found it just a tad too loud for my liking. However on the over run it did sound amazing.
I must admit I didn't go for the AFM unit , which I know I should have done as I feared bike was running way too lean.
It's a lovely looking can all the same. Enjoy.

  6. Do you still have the SC project pipe....for sale?

  7. Love this pipe...my install video:

  8. Did you do any mapping with that exhaust or running stoc ecu? Power commander, afm modifier, custom flash?

Are running stock air filter or high flow one?

  9. All stock with the exception of the CRT silencer. Runs a little lean for sure.

  10. Did you manage to remove flapper valve?

  11. I didn't bother...the flapper opens when I'm on the throttle anyway. It also keep the bike a bit quieter when I'm rolling through the neighborhood. Its almost too loud even with the flapper.

  12. I had no choice as needed space under seat. Thing is it is now hunting at idle and am wondering if it is normal as flapper is removed or my flapper eliminator unit is bit wonky.

Also that dude in crashed car was so out of it :)
