  1. No need to scrape it off, you should just melt it away by sitting on it Steve.

  7. Today I sat next to the most beautiful woman I have seen in years on a plane. Absolutely stunning. And once I'd finished reading Practical Sportsbike and had 40 winks she was actually really nice to chat with and not stuck up at all. [emoji106]

  8. Never mistake 'beauty' and 'stuck up-ness' I have met some beautiful women who were the nicest people you could meet (and some, let's say, 'not so pretty' who were the snottiest cows ever!
I always work on the principal be nice to others and hope they are nice back, you soon find out. (It's the same with blokes too, though the end result wasn't always the same - LOL)

  10. Great Pics! I was just listening to Hotel California before I came on to the site! Beautiful day today and much as I wanted to take the bike out Mr Arthur Itis decided to visit my spine! Can't move at the moment :-(

  11. The sun was shining this afternoon so went out on the bike. Decided to give it a wash when I got back. Managed to slice my fingers to pieces, I presume on the edges of the discs. Anybody else have a bike that tries to eat them. ?

  12. did you make strawberry Jam from the remnants/pieces of spare finger? ( could not resist that one!)

  13. next time you have need of celebratory meal, have a look at 'Menugordonjones' on Bear Flat - not your standard pub fare, but a quality food experience IMHO

  14. 2 and half years ago I bought my first 8 wheel tipper. Today I ordered my eighth. The construction industry had better stay buoyant this year ! It has been quite a lean winter so far but looks promising .....
Not had to park any up yet :grinning:

  16. Had a hair cut first thing and now sat in Nero's, Festival Place, with a coffee before taking the Multistrada in for its MoT. Quick dash back home for a bite to eat and then back down the MoT station with the 1098R. Got a lovely if cold day for it. Andy

  18. I've been dipping in and out of drafting a contract all day. I'm hoping to have it finished by Tuesday. Maybe.

  19. Talking of dipping - I've had a cheese and chocolate fondue overload!
