Once you've written the thing, you then have to polish it (possibly like a turd). Then you have to write a synopsis. Then a one-page synopsis. Then a "very short synopsis". Then a query letter. Then you have to research agents, adapt your query letter, find the right synopsis... It goes on. But it's all been done, so yes, I probably will start posting again. Look! I am!
Ah good. I've just bought a GT air but haven't had chance to use it yet. I found it very quiet.....when I put it on in the living room.
up early and new pads all round. Still meat left on the front but the rear was so close to being metal it was urgent. Also rewired my phone and dash cam charger as replacing the rad dislodged a wire. New chain is on its way (next week) and then it will be time to book the mot; ideally before this rear tyre gets too low.
Later today my son and I are going to Glasgow to stay over with my nephew, Ryan, and his wife, Mindy. I love them to bits. Mindy is sikh and a superb cook - happy days.
Just popped over to kais suspension to drop my rear shock off. Started to take it apart last night and just as @Tobytyke said, needed a new spring and service. Whist here they showed me around their workshop and took the time to tell me what's involved with the rebuild. Decided to have the main body re coated as well as having it re worked and new spring. I'll be bringing my forks over as well to have them serviced and re sprung for my weight. Impressed with them so far...
Today I have mostly been voting. Another referendum - the joys of democracy! Have had to vote on fiscal regime for married couples, sending criminal foreigners back home, making speculating on agricultural raw materials (wheat, cocoa and whatnot) illegal, and whether to build a new Alpine tunnel. Plus electing the village council. All rather dull, but as a good citizen, it just had to be done.
Indeed. And you have to respect that privilege by voting. In every instance I agreed with the Conseil Fédéral, or government viewpoint. But it often isn't like that.
