Swapped the bikes around in the shed to get the kh ready for the engine and i have a tool box which sits at the perfect hight to lift/slide it into position, it should be in this week when i can get an extra pair of hands to help,
i admire your patience. this is why i could never restore nowt. i have none. get it done for Christ sake. :smileys:
Not one chip, had a car jack in the middle with a bit of wood on top lifted engine on to it and lowered into position having the tool box at the right height made it easier to slide engine across, also putting a bit of rubber hose over the exhaust studs helps against scratch's. If i can find the carb clamps i will fit them into position then the cables,
God, yeah! There's that heart stopping moment when nothing happens and it actually feels like the bike is speeding up before the pads remove enough water to bight. :Jawdrop:
Waiting, waiting....oh and please record the lovely whiney, crackly triple sound when you get the engine fired up
Just been adding a few bits of bling (chrome bits) and a couple of cables, just need a few new circlips and some small washers as the new ones i brought i put them somewhere safe, but i can't find that safe place
Picked up a chain this weekend and brake fluid, so there the next jobs to do and finish fitting rear brake cable, Throttle and choke cables are fitted but will need adjusting properly when its start up time. Clutch cable, kickstart, gear pedal, rear brake pedal, front footrest's all fitted
