Anyone got an original clutch cover and rubber gasket for an early 916, are they the same colour as the later bikes, got a slightly worn carbon half cover on at the moment, don't like it though
Still looking for a good one if anyone can help, no dents or scrapes please, don't mind some slight wear
Ducati 748 916 996 998 clutch cover rubber seal | eBay It depends on whether you want an early cast one or a later double-gauge pressed one but latter can be had for as little as £15 on £bay if you bide your time.
I don't use them myself and I had no idea they were that cheap - I think you have your answer on the gasket Taffr..
If the rubber gasket is left out, along with the 4 little spacers it carries, there's a good chance the spring caps can rub on the cover.. If you're running without, it's worth a check
Cheers lads for the steer on the gasket, it's a decent cover I need to find, cast or pressed, it's for an early 916, not sure but It may have had a cast one, been offered a few but all have had dents or need painting
