Like an OAP kid at Xmas I'm excited already just at the planning stage of my 916 SPS project.. After chats with Nelly and a few more DF members, thanks to each and all Muchly by the way, along with much advice from Glen at Moto V finally decided the only way to find me solace and away front trouble with Mrs N is to build the bike of my dreams a 916 sps with no time or expense a issue.. We are looking for a frame and sub f etc already, v early days but can't keep the excited itchy fingers quiet .. Planning on posting as I go along ( normally very slowly) honest comments as always will be most welcome.. Good and bad.. X Noods
Ha... No I never do standard.. Big plans, hopefully they will all come together eventually .. I never accept failure, and will go to as some might say stupid lengths to get things just so.. I expect problems yes but I'm sure we will get there.. Thinking mag swing arm, sps frame with ohlins, just take my time getting the best parts I can, any little mods I can make my own, eh lathe work, milling and casting, polishing etc.. Plus tons of OCD thrown in in abundance.. Attention to detail will be maddening as always With me.. So don't expect a rush... Electronic dash and special paintwork with nooooo stickers, carbon bodywork.. I'm lucky to have a superb Ducati engineer on hand plus a brilliant paint guy.. Plus many superstars on here which are oh so very Muchly appreciated... X
The only thing I haven't modified on my SPS is the swimgarm. Don't forget lots of pics :thumbsup::thumbsup:
