Hello all, been lurking but never posted on here before. Thought l better say hello. Just taken delivery of a lovely 748 monoposto. I had a picture of this bike on my bedroom wall when l was a kid so it's a dream come true to finally own one. Completely different to the Honda hornet 600 that it's replaced. (My wrists weren't thanking me on the first proper ride out). Based currently up in Lincoln with work so will be out and about in the local area. Great forum and loads of knowledge and advice. First job is to get rid of the milky HB light. Thanks, Richard
I think the wrist ache was down to the new ride position. The hornet had wide high rise bars and a more 'open' body position. Being a new toy I was quite tense while riding but after a few rides getting used to it and relaxing the pains gone. Slow speeds puts more pressure on riding round town. The cold weather didn't help either l expect. I cannot believe how much fun it is through corners and the noise is addictive. I am grinning from the minute l take the cover off it in the garage till when the cover gets put back on after a ride.
