  1. These seem to beat everyone else on price for there tyres that I can find. Has anyone had any dealings with them? Any positive or negative feedback would be much appreciated.

  2. Yes I have used them a few times now, quick service, all positive up to now in my experience.

  8. Yep great service.

  9. Good tyres and good service (and they use DPD who are decent couriers) but.. I bought two sets of tyres from them early last summer and I've been bombarded with e-mails ever since, many of them the same ones duplicated multiple times on the same day. Three months after the tyres had been received and fitted to the bikes I was still getting emails telling me my order had been despatched. I had to ring them up to make sure they weren't sending more tyres I didn't want.
I'm sure its an admin computer glitch but email-happy marketing is a turn off for me. For the sake of two or three pounds price difference I think I'll use Tyreleader next time.

  10. Yes, I have used them several times and received very good service at a good price with free delivery. The first time I used them the prices were so much cheaper than anywhere else I thought as they were coming from abroad, they hadn't charged me for the VAT, and was relieved when the invoice/reciept arrived 3 weeks later, the cost did include VAT. So all good, highly recommended.

  11. I have just taken delivery of a pair of tyre from Hunters Motorcycles in Newcastle-upon-Tyne and at the moment are cheaper than anywhere, inc free delivery.

  12. Perfect and a great price. Never had an email from them apart from invoice and delivery details.

  13. If you fit to bike yourself then yes it's probably one of the cheapest ways to go, the question is whether your taking your wheels or your bike in to have them fitted by competent people? You will be surprised that there are a lot of deals to be done from speaking to a fitting station that give asn overall fitted price cheaper than you organising yourself, fitting station also get offers from reps, and manufacturers quite often pay the fitting at different stages of the season, if you were happy at an overall price fit to bike of around £250-£270 you could pretty much kit most sports bikes out with a pair of the latest models, if you buying tyres only for £180 then a tenner to fit an balance to loose wheel you should get this at a fitting station as well, PM me if your commutable to Bristol, a few here have used me and realised that they would have paid more by buying online by the time there on the bike!
Support the fitting guys and they'll still be here when you need them, fail to support them and then you have an issue finding help one day.....

  14. Where in Bristol are you?

  15. I believe we may have met before, I run Protyre in Bristol, at the moment I'm laid up in hospital with 2 torn discs but if you get hold of me I will look after you, speak to "comfysofa" he will confirm you be looked after, if you have a price let me know what your target price is, sometimes I can speak to reps and get a bit more off! What bike are you running now! I am looking for a current mich rd4 rider to test the new metzeler z01's, PM me for pricing info

  16. I was quoted £68.70 to fit to loose wheels by P&H. Couldn't believe it. Paid £25 in the end and I got the tyres from oponeo. Saved me about £50 overall (even more if I work off P&H pricing).

  17. £68 for loose wheel fitting! My god!. If you mention ducati forum on work request I fit, valve & balance for £10 to loose wheels, standard charge for fully fitted to bike would be £36 rear, £29 front, this not a bang um in service, it's a spindle/bearing clean and grease, brake de-dust and chain tension re-set where required, we look after our customers bikes as we would our own.......
