Hi, returning to bikes after about a 10yr lay off - kids, etc... and just bought my first Ducati - 2009 1098S :smiley: Ever since the release of the 996, have always wanted a Ducati, but lack of funds and probably influenced by mates with Jap sportsbikes meant I went down the route of Jap sportsbikes as well. Back in the day, I used to commute to Central London on an R1, did some touring, went to some racing - Moto GP, WSB, BSB, did a couple of track days on a CBR 600 and generally mucked about with mates. Unfortunately, most of my mates no longer have bikes so happy to hear about any rideouts, etc that are going on. Also, considering a trip to Assen for the Moto GP this year if anyone is up for it ? So that's a bit about me !
Evening, I'm just north in Berkhamsted. Occasional forum meets are starting at Ace cafe, although I've not made it there yet. Happy to take a ride out come the sunshine [emoji106] (wife permitting).

hiya Kev I'm up for some of us to meet up when weather gets better. Had 1000cc jap's mainly in past.came back to bikes last year with the 899 then upgraded and now currently running in my 1299 . cheers steve

Hi Steve, would would good to arrange a few people for a ride out but as you say, probably need to wait for the sun - hopefully get a decent summer this year
yea went out yesterday to put some more miles on the clock. roads were salted today but did not look a lot.maybe tempted to go out sunday if the sun comes out. fingers crossed.
