  1. Had a 906 PASO twenty years ago, great that was. I have leered after a colleagues GT1000 for ages and when this one came up, it was in a moment of weakness. I had a yamaha fjr1300 which was DULL. Anyway, here is my wife sat on my GT1000 as I pulled up home after collection.

I am a guzzi man really, I currently have 12 bikes, guzzis and Brits and have a habit of bolting sidecars to everything, although maybe not this one. :upyeah:

Can anyone tell me if monster cans will fit this thing, its TOO quiet and I cannot stretch to the coin needed to buy GT specific cans. Its that or open megaphones.

  2. She rides a 1100 Cally btw and was remarking on how efeminate, light and 'pretty' my new toy was. GGGRRR

  3. There must be a wheelie bin somewhere in that pic

  4. Don't you bl**dy dare bolt a sidecar to a Guzzi.......

....PS which one/s have you got?

    AL.

And our stone, 2003, bought half each as a wedding present to each other. Had a big euro tour as a honeymoon including the factory at lecco. Alas, the matt orange finish is long gone.

My wife rides it now. I painted her black when the orange got too grubby to do anything with.

  6. Welcome to the forum and Ducati ownership. Looks like the new bike is parked on the roof:eek: Tell your missus, Ducatis are precision engineering as opposed to heavy engineering that she is used to:biggrin:

  7. So the line should be that our bikes are the absolute polar opposites of their riders then?

I brought a GT a couple of weeks ago to keep my Strada company! Mine is red with a white stripe down the middle.
I can't stop myself riding or buying accessories for it. Will post some pics when i figure out to!

  14. Hello and welcome. The Duke is such a beautiful machine it's no wonder your missus is smiling, change the cans but other than that keep it standard, it doesn't need anything else, and the smiles will keep coming.

  15. Welcome. Love the classic :upyeah:
