  3. Hi, when you decided on R&G, did you consider any other engine case protection manufacturer ? Andy
PS - nice bike by the way :upyeah:.

  4. Hi Andy
I'd had R&G sliders etc on my Monster so didn't really look at others. Thanks for comment

  5. Okay, I've gone for GBRacing simply because I'd seen a track bike go down with them fitted and was impressed by how good a job they did. Andy

  10. Lovely bike mate.

    Meaty chicken strips. Good effort!

  11. Can't believe u have spent that much money and not ditched the terrible standard foot pegs!

  12. i still have them on mine despite BDTD sending me some new ones - i honestly havent had a single issue with them lol (i will get round to changing them at some point while my wrist is in plaster tho)

  13. bike looks fantastic Nigel

  14. The standard pegs are fine in the dry. Get a bit of rain and you know about it though! The bike looks great :)

  15. If you look at the mahooosive chicken strips you'll see that this bike has only ever been ridden on ice, snow or torrential rain.

  16. I kept my originals for quite a few months, not really feeling they were as terrible as everyone says but then decided to swap them out and the difference is night and day!

  17. Tbf my post sounded a little blunt, basically I think it's a little boot dependant.... I always where alpinestar boots but the new ones have a softer soul as they aren't a race boot as such, the older boots my foot used to slip off a lot. On my 848 (same pegs) I was ever so slightly putting weight on one peg on a wet day and my foot slipped off and nearly ran it over! Definitely change of underwear mo.

Hence for £40 I think it's a great upgrade to feel more secure and in control.

  18. In terms of their tangible benefit, there aren't many modifications you can make to the Panigale for so little money that return such an improvement. Before I sold my 1199 I put it back to standard, including the pegs and took it for one last ride and couldn't believe how awful the standard pegs are now that I'm used to my grippier ones.
