  1. Please don't expect anything new here (most of the information, if not all of it is on motorcycleinfo.co.uk)
Most of these ideas have been tried before, just MAYBE not in this combination?

I've had HID lamps on my R32 and add ons for the 998S and the van (yes I drive a van when not aboard the MTS1220S).
They have a delay when switching on, so running them for high beam isn't really an option...unless I'm missing something.

Low beam H11 HID replacement - always on when engine running.
High beam H11 matching (colour) high quality Xenon (LED bulbs just aren't quite there yet)
Diode mod to keep low beam on when high beam selected.

    Has anyone done this yet?

  2. On my triumph i had HID on dipped beam, after fitting those, never used main beam again.

I have ordered some 120 SMD LED lights off ebay to see what they are like, they were cheap enough and if dont look good will fit fog lights on car

  3. Me me, i have done it, Hids--Low beam, High Beam bulbs as standard, Diode Mod so that Low remains on with High, but I also have two sets of Led spots, they have 4x5w equivalent bulbs in each lens, one set comes on with Main, the other set comes on with a bar switch so can all four on on high and two on on dip, you sure can see where you are going at night!!! Also the daytime people can see you far better, occasionally I get a Headlight flash from oncoming traffic, but I can live with that.
I have had no problems at all with charging, battery failure etc.
