  1. up late last night been clicking on web sites looking at Ducati's then blimey 12.30 late last night while looking on the MCN classified's one just appeared it must have been an omen or destiny I don't know

  2. Today was a bit busy work wise, and my meeting in Sheffield this afternoon was very good.

This evening, when I got home, I vacuumed the car as I have visitors from Sweden and France on Monday and Tuesday next week. Then I checked both bikes to make sure they started (and they both started first time thankfully:) ) then I checked the tyre pressures and pumped them up where necessary. All in readiness for the weekend as I intend to be out and about all weekend on both the Panigale and the Scrambler. :)

  3. I've never tried skiing. Too old now to try. Can't you kneel in the snow to help the swelling?

  4. Skiing... One thing I'd love to do but never will as the wife will only go on a summer holiday... I reckon I'd be pretty good on a snowboard...

  5. Well, go without her then. Her choice.

  6. I get the bikes.... She gets the holidays... I just go where I'm told.... Small price to pay for owning what ive got!

  7. You're never too old! Give it a go :)

  8. Oh, just got a knock on the door (that's late) and guy had a big box for me it's my Nitron Shock for my Ducati Scrambler I know what I'm doing in the morning

  11. I have a race pro on my rsv4 and an r3 on my zed.... Great shocks... If they made one for my supermoto I'd have one on there as well...

  12. of course next to the dog then the wife :tearsofjoy::smiley::grinning::tearsofjoy:

  13. 14 hours of alcoholic and hot tub therapy will see you cutting fresh tracks -guaranteed!

  14. Clutch all nice and clean on 999 and springs in an ACF 50 bath overnight.

Most if the fairing is off now, was going to take tank off tonight but tired now and on 3rd beer so didn't want to make a mistake. She is very different to the 996.

Chain and sprockets all clean and pretty good nick.

Found a few more bits held on with cable ties.

Still, good progress considering I only got her Tuesday.

Going to drop the oil tomorrow.

  15. And its probably the most expensive type of holiday. You ski so you have all the gear and I know its not cheap.

Honestly doubt I will ever get the chance to try it. Looks like a bloody good way to spend a week though.

  16. Like roller boots? Or the little metal ones you strapped to your shoes?

  17. Roller boots... Mine have simms streetsnakes and blue clouds for tight cornering.... Back to my youth..... Those were the days...

  18. so your building yer first clutch pissed on cheep lager?
i look forward to the upcoming threads :smileys:

  19. Just borrow some gear to try it. If you like it then you can buy a few bits and bobs.

  20. Just bought a Morgo 750cc kit for the old Triton I have in the workshop.Apparently the old barrel,an old Morgo,is badly worn.
Perhaps something can be done to it,a rebore and oversize pistons.Wish I knew a bit more about these things,
