  2. same here, plenty of acf-50, the wife's toothbrush & silicone polish courtesy of work. Complete with wheelie bins as standard.

  3. Agree with both of you,i wasted my money on some SDOC 100 once ,what a load of pap!...I tried it on my Triumph Sprint 1050,i would have made a better job with a scrubbing brush and some coal tar soap!..
    An old toothbrush, soapy water and plenty of elbow grease does a far better job IMO...and spring is just round the corner thank f@ck,been a while since I've had chance of a ride.

  6. Same. If it gets stripped-down it gets cleaned. That's what I did here sort of but I took the chance to do the other bits whilst the fairings were off.

I never find cleaning mine to be a chore, totally the opposite...to me its a special thing of beauty and as such deserves to be kept in tip top sparkles!...it also gives me the opportunity to carry out a bit of preventative maintenance, looking for loose fasteners and split /perishing hoses, oil leaks etc.:grinning:
