  2. Started hoovering the car... Stopped half way to procrastinate and do some of my home made scottoiler [IMG]
Timer is working perfectly. Every 60 seconds (I can adjust this) it activates the fluid gate solenoid, allowing a little through. Just awaiting my reservoir and then I can plumb it in.

  3. Or should that read "little" black book

  4. I went out on the Panigale at 8.15am to meet Matt (formerly of this parish). I was home again by 10.30 as my rear tyre is now goosed and starting to shred.

Was back out on the Scrambler at 11am :)

The Scramblers rear is getting close to needing to be changed too so I went to my local tyre man to order new rears for both bikes. :)

I then set off around the locality taking in some new gnarly routes that I've not been on. Pot holes, cobbles and gravel were in abundance. :upyeah:

5 hours later I'd done close to 100 miles on some pretty interesting roads and I'd had a blast :)

Think I'll do it all again tomorrow:upyeah:

  5. Last night I went to a Spanish wine tasting. Started with a Fino cocktail, ended with Lustau oloroso. Enjoyed three whites and three reds in between from small producers and some unusual grapes.

Wielded a lawn mower in anger/ with a slight hangover this morning. I also took down and cleaned all the bird feeders dotted round the estate and topped them up with fresh seed/titbits. I like to see birds in the garden.

Washed two cars inside and out this aft and moved the Triumph from behind the cars to in front of the cars. I may go out tomorrow. On the bike.

  6. Download a DB meter app to see what the bikes put out. Family had fun seeing who could make the most noise. Every time the wife starts to raise her voice at me/kids/life I ask her to pause and get the meter out. Sometimes it calms her down, not always though.

As 999 on strike took 996 for 1st proper ride since Geoff@Baines did his magic. OMG, that's more like it.

  7. Removed front wheel and forks (one of the seals is leaking) quite pleased that I managed it and haven't broken anything....
also had a pub lunch and walk in the forest.

  13. I was introduced to skating via a couple of mates. Went a few times using quads and simply could not get on with them. Thomas then said 'why not try blades?' I was sceptical, but gave it a go anyway. The difference was incredible, it was like I had been on them for years!!!

  14. Forgot to reply I bought a very nice immaculate low mileage Ducati I could not stop thinking about for 4 weeks!

    an 899 PANIGALE yahooo!

  15. Ooh, saw one today when the wife and I popped out for lunch. Even she said it looked tasty [emoji6]

  16. Dropped some stuff off with Bradders, saw his new mancave, went home n got the Multi out, trip to Duc Cov to consider buying a 1199 Tricolore. Thinking on it n working on the missus

  17. No not me, I went to Kempton Park today for the motorcycle jumble by the time I got home the sun had burnt through the fog, unfortunately my insurance company had closed at 12.30 so I could not get the bike covered until Monday so just got to clean and look at it till then.

So I thought I would put my new Nitron shock on the scrambler 2 bolts should take me all of 10 minutes, well what a bloody job that was the bottom shock bolt on the swing arm is covered by a large bracket that hold the drivers and pillion foot rest the rear wheel has to be lifted off the ground so the shock can fully expand and what's underneath the exhaust cat after about 2 hours I had it fitted after a few cups of tea it got too dark for pictures I'll take some tomorrow.

  18. My misses doesn't know how many bikes I got not sure how I gonna explain my new bright red one tho!

  19. Fitted this, will stop the little bastards waking me up at 5:30am every fricking day.
