I'm going to sound like a complete idiot here but re the slipper clutch thing. I think my MTS has one but I have I haven't had the chance to ride it much yet due to hospital treatment and the winter but it's hopefully out of hibernation this week. In as simple terms as possible what the hell is it and what's the benefit?. So it as simple as just not having to blip to throttle on change downs? Many thanks from a technophobe Luddite

Going down through the gearbox as you approach a corner quickly you might go through 3 or 4 gears down the box so wheel speed and engine speed are not matched. As you let the clutch out to engage the transmission, a slipper clutch will prevent the wheel from locking and will allow a little slip in the drive.
