One Week In To Ducati Ownership...

Discussion in 'Newbies Hangout' started by Ben Mallinson, Mar 16, 2016.

  1. Hello All,

Just a quick first post to introduce myself and and say hello. I'm Ben, live in North Lincolnshire, bought my first Ducati just over a week ago and have been doing a lot of reading on here since taking delivery of my new pride and joy.

I would also like to say that this forum looks to be an absolute asset to ny Ducati owner which contains some very useful information and also a very friendly and helpful community too :)

I have already found many answers to what I'm sure will be common newbie questions and put a few initial concerns to bed.

I have only managed to get my new toy out a couple of times to date , however I have soon realised that I need to forget pretty much everything I've learnt on my GSXR 750 and learn how to ride again. This said, I know I have made the right decision in buying a Ducati and can feel a life Lon love affair begining. They really are enthusiast machines!

I'm now looking forward to getting to know my new bike more and clocking some miles up, I'm sure it won't be long before I have some queries for you more knowledgeable folk on this forum either.

Also attached a few photos of Dennis (as the wife has named it)
