  1. Mot failed. Front brakes binding. Took home, cleaned calipers and Pistons. Now cannot seem to get the last bit of air out. Needs 2 pumps to get pressure. Anger rising [emoji35]

  9. Scrambler has just done 620miles the first service light has come on and I got another 3 weeks till it goes in, I tried a 50 mile radius of where I live to get the bike serviced quicker but all the Ducati dealers round here are snowed under with work, I think I'll open a repair shop!

  12. After work I changed the PCV system on the car, what a fun job that was, also found a not very small oil leak so the oil consumption might not come down much as yet... The great and wise internet says 4-5 hours, I did it in 2.5 including 2 coffee breaks.

    £144 buys this lot.

  14. Slight meltdown over the 999.
    Applied for a credit card which apparently now involves taking 4 forms of ID to the post office to get signed, PITA.
    Completed my English Cricket Board Safeguarding Young Children online course for my cricket coaching course on Sunday.
    Now watching Meat Loaf live in 1978 on Sky Arts and looking at track days.

  17. I was supposed to meet my mate Matt (formally of this parish) for a blast on the Panigale at 8.15am but he blobbed out cos it was too cold. :D

    I'm now back in bed having breakfast and will go out later if I can be bothered.

  19. Just got my MOT pass. I like my new mechanic much better than that P&H lot. Free MOT for life or not, I'd rather pay someone else and have someone I trust work on the bike.

  20. I last had Mot's done at the Motorcycle Workshop at Bolney.Good old fashioned service from the owner and his wife.
