Bt Sport Motogp Coverage

Discussion in 'Racing & Bike Sport' started by SconuT, Mar 20, 2016.

  1. I've been looking at the different options to watch MotoGP this year, I usually watch a dodgy live stream on the race day and then the highlights on ITV4. I'd like to get the full coverage on BT Sport but their prices are a bit rich! For the HD version it's £23.99 per month. I've also looked at the Motogp video pass but not sure how good that is. Can anyone feedback on how good the coverage is on BT Sport? Is it worth it?

  2. Many dont like the people on there, but I like it.Spent most of yesterday sat in front of the telly.:upyeah:

  3. And Colin Edwards has joined the team so some great insight rather than the usual on the fence 'its awesome' hodgy stuff

  5. I watch Moto GP on BT Sport.Good coverage even if the commentary might not be up your street.

  6. Some of the additional stuff is good if you want more in depth race news. The commentary peice with Cal and Bradders was very good.

  7. I like the coverage on BT sport. Going to be a long afternoon in from 2pm today watching the MotoGP :)

  8. It's actually £3pm for BT Internet customers, not free anymore. It is free as a BT TV customer.

Worth it though, although it annoys the hell out of me when they charge the extra for HD. They now film everything in HD, so it is of no extra cost. They actually compress it down to SD quality, and strip out the extra that gives HD (extra work for them). The fact that they do this and keep SD at the same price as always, simply means they can charge extra on top for HD. Scandalous!

  9. Another link to free streaming, it works well for me but you do get the odd broadband interruption where I am. I have Sky broadband.

    Qatar MotoGP Live Stream Free

  10. just put ten sports on and its streaming already the warmup. :)

  11. I have just checked my last bill and they are charging me £5 pcm which has been discounted from the normal £19.99 as I am a BT Broadband customer.

    I am not happy.

  12. Rep me too - BT phone and Broadband and Sky TV and they charged me £5 per month for last year and bt broadband was not as good as sky imho - now my 12mnth contract is up they charging me £15 or something on top of my bill unless I sign up for another 12 months!! I'm thinking of binning it - it's too much to pay for basically just MotoGP as I don't really watch footie!

Not happy!! Couldn't recommend BT at all - customer service sucks!

  13. i'm lucky... i run BT at home, and I order the internet for work. I simply ordered BT and added sport to the work contract, not my home one. Added my sky viewing card number and hey presto, company expenses BT sport :tearsofjoy:

  14. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!

Watched the race on ten sports, I will finally be able to catch moto 2 and 3 again *joy* [emoji898][emoji106][emoji4][emoji4][emoji4][emoji4][emoji4][emoji4][emoji965][emoji965][emoji965][emoji965][emoji965]

  15. BT coverage is generally ok.

However Keith Huewens commentary is excruciatingly poor. He's clueless.

  16. Some great info that's helped me decide not to get BT Sport. I've watched the race today via a free streaming site. The quality wasn't great so I'll try TenSport next time. BT started charging for it last year and from what I've read one here and elsewhere they kind of sneaked the charges in for a lot of customers. I'm not hearing much positive feedback on their broadband service either. Think I'll stick with Plusnet!

  17. plusnet and their 1mbps upload... no thanks

    bt's fibre is excellent.

  18. there was a fair bit of email and paper correspondence last year, that i got, which made me get organised to NOT continue with it. A lot of correspondence. maybe you slipped through the net- worth flagging with BT?
