  1. Thanks bradders, I remember at Silverstone they were setting suspension up for £50 so if they are doing the same at donni might get it done. Might have a little look over the weekend at the rear spring and see if I can have a play about with the settings.

  2. if not, pop into the WM Snells or Motorapido garages, sure they may be able to help as both are very good customer friendly place :)

  3. JHP are my local and heard they are good at setting suspension up. But dealing with them prices can sometimes be a bit wooly. I prefer dealing with Rick from JHP.

  4. be surprised if they are not there, and sure they won't mind getting a spanner out ;) Its a DUK day after all, its about supporting their customers :)

  5. Agree,Rick is one of the good guys, knows his way round race bikes and is a official Ohlins engineer, trust him 100% on my Ducati's.

  6. I've booked into the Ducati day at Silverstone on June 16th. They didn't have any inters left, so I've booked into novice. I'll be on my road bike anyway, so that pace will suit my need not to slide it down the Tarmac :)
They asked for dealer affiliation so you can get in their garages. I've put down Aylesbury. Anyone else done the same ?

  7. I booked mine online and when the ticket came through it had MotoRapido on it(who are my local dealer and who I got the bike from) so I guess they have some way of finding out or just put you in with the nearest dealer? I'm also in the novices, can't wait!!I did the National circuit last year and it was awesome, really looking forward to the full circuit :)

  8. That's cool that they arrange that as you can at least share a garage with people who are local. Just hope it's not a garage with 50 bikes as space and plugs for warmers might be limited :)
I've never been round Silverstone before, so I best get some practice on the Xbox beforehand
I'm doing the California superbike school there in April, but I think that's a different circuit ?

  9. yes thats on the stow circuit, my mate is doing that as well.

  10. I've not got an xbox, I just watched loads of you tube vids, the national circuit is really easy to remember cos it's quite short, I think stowe is even smaller but you're there to learn with CSS and not see how fast your bike can go so it's a totally different day.. I'd like to do the CSS training but I just feel it's quite pricey... still must be good or they wouldn't fill it up every year... you'll be super smooth by the time you hit the full circuit then!

  11. Looks like I'm off to Sliverstone too :upyeah: best get some new wubber

  12. I've booked Silverstone too, and will be on my new Monster 1200R. In novice group. Did a Ron Haslam day there a year or so ago on their CBR 600RR's, and that was flip'in fantastic. Cant wait to feel the difference of the 1200 V-twin, with its awesome torque, and its quiet bark from the Termis' - should bring a smile  to my face...

  13. Just emailed about Donington, get availability and not bothered if fast or inters group so lets see if any space left :)

  14.
  15. Booked Donington & Silverstone when they were first announced.

CSS joining instructions, which arrived 2 weeks later said static noise test first at both. I queried this as all the time I've done Donington, the test has always been drive by. CSS said testing is in accordance with each circuit's guidelines. So I checked with Donington - it's a 108 day and it's measured by drive-by. Only if you beat 108 will they pull you in for a static.

Better put the baffles back in my Termis then:wink:

  16. It always puzzles me why donny has noise limits when they have 130db jet engines 200meters up

  17. booked, I'll be the one all the fast group boys are moaning about blocking the track ;)

  18. hey paul you riding over or taking the bike in ya van??

  19. idea was to ride but not sure yet, what about you? Can fit two in the van easy enough, share fuel costs

  20. I spoke to Wendy again, and managed to move into Inters at Silverstone, so I suppose I better learn the track and try my 899 on the track beforehand.
I'll go by van so I can bring warmers, stands and a genny as I'm guessing the garages will be rammed if it's one per dealer when you can only fit probably 4-5 bikes per garage
