Fork Colour Differences Between Carby Models

  1. My 95 ss has forks which are mostly silvery gold with a darker bronze colour near the stanchion end. My rebuild project 92 ss (cr) has forks which are gold all over. Is it purely cosmetic or are there differences inside?

  2. My 1991 forks (right) are deeper gold than the 1993 replacements I purchased (left). They appear identical in other respects (apart from the date code)

  3. IIRC earlier SS forks are Showa units and the later mid 90's ones were Marzocchi units.
