899 Carbon Clutch Cover

  1. Anyone fitted one of these to a 899?? It looks like it uses the bolts for the clutch cover but the 899 has a different set up than the 1199. So how does it secure??

  2. Can't justify £500

  3. it certainly is a lot of money!

  4. image.jpeg I got one of these from R&G, silicone's on quite effective for the price and installation took 5 mins

  5. I was considering one of these as I prefer the design over the R&G version. I was just going to dremel off the fitting lugs and then bond it on. If you can make a neat job of it and can be bothered I reckon it would look good on the 899. I ended up being lazy and plumped for the R&G one...

  6. Trouble with R&AV stuff is they plaster the name all over it

  7. I took a heat gun to that [emoji12]

  8. Could you post a pic please Matt

  9. I have the same on mine. Took 5 mins to glue on, and held it tight overnight with a zip tie to make sure it set in place properly
I think it was about £40

  10. Here you go...

  11. Cheers Matt, is it dry carbon? How does the weave match the Ducati carbon???

  12. What do you mean by dry James? It's slightly glossy, but not a full gloss finish, if that's what you mean. The weave is plain, so yes it matches the DP carbon. You can see my DP rearsets match it pretty well.

  13. never liked the R&G carbon cover but looking at Matt's with the sticker removed looks alot better!

  14. Removed my sticker too, it was a crapy, shitty, cheap looking thing.......it had to go
