Anyone fitted one of these to a 899?? It looks like it uses the bolts for the clutch cover but the 899 has a different set up than the 1199. So how does it secure??

I got one of these from R&G, silicone's on quite effective for the price and installation took 5 mins
I was considering one of these as I prefer the design over the R&G version. I was just going to dremel off the fitting lugs and then bond it on. If you can make a neat job of it and can be bothered I reckon it would look good on the 899. I ended up being lazy and plumped for the R&G one...
I have the same on mine. Took 5 mins to glue on, and held it tight overnight with a zip tie to make sure it set in place properly I think it was about £40
What do you mean by dry James? It's slightly glossy, but not a full gloss finish, if that's what you mean. The weave is plain, so yes it matches the DP carbon. You can see my DP rearsets match it pretty well.
