Came across this on another forum Motorcycle Ergonomics Even allows you to adjust for rear sets etc etc
just had a look but I'm not sure I get what I'm supposed to be getting from this exercise.. I mean its kinda showing me what I look like (ish) on my bike but?... am I missing something? is there advice on how to improve comfort based on the info I input?
Choose your bike, enter your height and inside leg and it gives you the angle of your hips and knees. You can then factor in rear set positions to see which will give you the most comfortable position. You can even move yourself forward and back on the seat. Also a bit of fun comparing against other bikes. It was interesting to see how my 1199, RSV4 and Monster compared.
kinda get ya.. just had another look. still not seeing how I look (ish) with my feet forward or back or up or down is helping ... sorry.. I think I'm missing it.. if I raise the pegs in the image for example, does it then tell me that will be comfortable? not trying to be awkward, just trying to work out how this thang works
It gives the angle of your knees and hips, the tighter the angle the more uncomfortable. If you move the peg position it gives the new angles - if the angle is greater it should be more comfortable. Or just use it as a bit of fun to compare different bikes....
F**K me. A bikes either comfortable for the rider, or its not. Like in the real world. Like actually sat on it. Like actually using it. :Arghh: :Banghead: Amazing.
