It is interesting. Once again it's purely aesthetics I'm interested in. Put aside the price, rarity, desireability, WSB wins, MotoGP wins, age, what it's like to ride, depreciation / appreciation.
On another note @El Toro , why when typing the character 'R' in a thread title, does it get converted to a lower case 'r'. I find this irritating as hell.

Ooooppppss. I did have a pic of the 999R when I posted it at work, but looking at the post at home, the 999R does not show. I've just added another pic of a 999R to the title thread to prove my impartiality.
I'd have voted for the Super Leggera but you can't. I love that fluo colour scheme and it looks the biz. Doesn't it count as an R, if the Desmo does?
The Desmo is actually an 'RR'. So good, they named it twice. The reason the Superleggera isn't in; is that I basically wanted to simply keep it down to the model series without breaking it down to engine size and different paint schemes etc.
No it doesn't. The SL was pretty much like an R - lots of special bits and extremely expensive. It is an über R. It just happened to have a wicked paint scheme as well.
