1200 Enduro Which Enduro To Go For?

  1. I'm absofuckinglutely content I've choosen the right colour for me. Red, however for those wishing to dive into the same sphere of bike. There is seemingly a subtle difference, in that with the 'phantom grey' (used very loosely) aka dark oliver green one. If you order it with the touring pack you get the pirelli scorpion rally tyres free of charge instead of the pirelli scopion trail II. With the red & star white silk versions this is an added optional charge quite bizarre but heyhoo.

If hotlinking of this image is not good I'll throw my own copy of it up.

  3. Having seen the colours at the excel centre, i must say the only colour for me is the military style green. The red just doesn't suit the bike in my opinion. Red really brings out the sporty nature of ducati bikes and this is more of a mad max, nothings stopping me not even the end of the world bike (until it breaks like every other multi :tearsofjoy:).

I would absolutely love one of these but unfortunately it's too different from my current multi and therefore the wife would notice.

  4. unless you lived in a desert or half way up a mountain why would you fit the Scorpion Rally tyres?

  5. Because it's what his bike would wear [IMG] [emoji23]

  7. You been anywhere on it yet bradders ?

  8. Just got home after abandoning my current bike to a layby due too a puncture. It's taken nearly two hours to make my way home over 12miles as i refuse to pay taxis
£25 for a 15minute journey. Can't wait for a tubeless bike, got a compressor & plug-kits... Got the message today from my dealer my bike is coming in the next week. But been stubborn I will wait till the middle of may to accrue my 8th year NCB before hunting for insurance. No one stops for a biker in hi-vis stuff thumbing it even when they obviously broken down.

  9. 2nd ride out this morning. So about 8 hrs riding so far....let's say it's a grower..and some minor alignment repairs are needed ;)

  10. I know I'm going off on a tangent but Carol Nash, arranged for my bike to be picked up (with me) & taken to my prefered biker-shop this morning at 6:30am. Got sorted this afternoon but am unable to pick it up till my shift-ends. Roll on may & the new beast :)

  11. So in bike kit you covered 12 miles plus in under 2 hours...you should take up running, you'd be in the next olympics :p

  12. i would say fuck the colours LOOK AT THE HAND GUARDS!!!!!!!!! they are plastic. even on normal dvt 1200s IN THE CITY you can break them by touching a cars mirror softly. if its a so called ENDURO bike it will fall down at slow speed may be that bike will suffer !! ENDURO ducati doesnt fit ! will never fit.

    ducati just playing with fire

  13. If I was going to do a long way round/down the last bike I would take is the MTS Enduro , I love my DVT but am under no ellusions that as soon as the going got tough it would throw its dummy out the pram and something would pack in, they might of made it better for off road and won the MCN group test but it's still not a bike I would trust for big miles over all terrains.

  14. Have you tried lying under this one to see if you can lift it off you just in case you repeat your GS800 "arriving at the campsite with damp grass "experience ;)
