  1. After returning from a ride today I noticed one of the screws has disappeared! Where can I purchase another from? The nut behind it has also gone  Thanks.

ive replaced mine too. several times. just order some from a ducati dealer. Below is for a full set. You will lose others in time too.

    1. 852.1.072.1A washer x 6
    2. 772.1.088.2B screw x 3
    3. 716.1.407.1A spacer x 6

  4. yeah i think i'll ride up to jhp cov over next weekend if weather is ok :)

hutch thanks anyway but your inbox is full :upyeah:

  5. I lost several over a period of time

Replaced with Dome Heads from Pro Bolt. If doing now I'd probably replace with the Flanged nuts. I like the contrast of the polished SS but I know its not to everybody's taste.

They have never come loose since replacing

  6. Sorry mate.. box cleared... up to you though & dont mind either way

  7. I replaced mine with some flange head socket button screws. A bit of thread lock seems to do the trick.

  8. Hi John, do you have the pro bolt reference numbers for these?

    Many Thanks

  9. I'll take a look later today and give you a link @mattygcup, I have a note stating they were M5x16 but let me double check and also get the head size to be sure

    John

  10. Thanks John, much appreciated!

  11. Yeah had a look, they are M5x16 with a 16mm diameter dome head. I cannot see them in SS on the ProBolt website anymore as the nearest to it is only 12mm diameter head. I put fibre washers behind them to stop them scratching the shield when installing/removing

They do them in Ti but that's a bit more costly but you can also get the Ti with a black finish if you fancy the stealth look.

    Pro-Bolt Titanium Dome Head Bolt M5 x (0.8mm) x 16mm

2 bad pictures of mine (they were for other purposes but the bolts are just about visible)

Dunno if that helps or not

  12. If you get stuck, I've got some nice ti bolts for sale. Go well against the carbon fibre.

    Cheers, ian

  13. I have some nice TI bolts in mine, found them in the bottom of my toolbox, there were meant for a Tornado aircraft.

  14. John,

Thanks for getting back to me, managed to find a pack of 10 including washers listed on Pro-Bolts eBay page, for a mere 11 quid! Hopefully should be decent like yours. Thanks!

P.S bike looks evil! Very cool.

    Matt

  15. Glad you posted this thread, I checked mine this afternoon while it was ticking over and warming up and one of mine was also slightly loose! Gave it a nip up before heading out, will keep and eye on it now to see if it needs a spot of thread glue on it...
