This amazing "land speed record" TRILEY has been on e bay as a classified advert for a few months @ a fairly ambitious £3500/4000 but seller has now gone the auction route! I'm amazed he's had 23 bids! If he really wants to sell it he should set it up to end about 2.00am on a Saturday morning during national "skunk smokers week?"
I've been seriously thinking about buying it - pulling the engine out of it and selling it on e bay.My mate has got an old fishing boat moored up in Southampton and has agreed to help me load the rest of it on deck and cruise out into English Channel about 9/10 miles,weigh it down and sling it overboard.He was going to charge me for this service until I showed him the photographs and he instantly agreed to da it totally free of charge stating "I could never sleep sound again knowing some drunk stoner might actually end up owning it and consider throwing a leg over it!"
I've done a lot of cars,pickups and chops from the USA but I checkout the sellers with contacts I've dealt with for years over there.Im not saying every e bay seller is a wrong un but you get a feel for a deal as well as the seller
If we are honest we have ALL woken up with a proper minger at some point in our lives? - me more than most during my hell raising years when I sorted out all my problems with 12/15 pints of cider and a bottle of Jameson every day 24/7.However I can proudly and categorically say that I never ever threw my leg over anything close to as ugly and obscene as this "TRILEY"
That's my old bike. The chap I bought it from would have spent less if he'd have covered in glue then thrown tenners at it. A properly amazing thing, makes everything else seem rubbish.
