Hi I have recently seen a couple of 916 shape bikes with nice gold wheels was wondering has anyone any photos of something similar on a 999 and or opinions for or against?
Well... gold, or GOLD? The superlegerra type gold would look really nice but I'm going off the bright OZ gold colour. Is it a red bike with red frame? Sometimes the frame colour really limits what u can do without it looking odd Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Yeah the body work is yet to be painted which will be BLACK!! The build is coming along slowly just like our Cars. :Facepalm: I've been working through a few sensor issues for the Pi dash. All because I'm too tight to pay £75 each for oil and water temp sensors. So I've made my own at the princely sum of £6.20. And I bit of lathe time. Loom is requiring some attention next and I've just mocked up a few new hoses which I dropped at Atec today to be crimped. But I need to turn my attention to the Rs250 which I'm on at Rockingham on this Sunday. (sorry for the massive thread jacking)
Hmm I must admit mine aren't quite the colour I was promised. But I can't moan it was a "cheap favour" by an old buddy.
RTD bespoke ecu and modified loom. Not much DR25. Only the sections I've changed. I didn't make the loom. Which I now regret. Mapping the thing has been a learning curve.
I love the contrast that gold wheels give! I've painted my OEM wheels from the boring grey to Gold! then i bought this Marchesini forged wheels wich i think this gold suits better.
