After the formalization of the transfer of Jorge Lorenzo at Ducati in 2017, Sports Director Paolo Ciabatti, Ducati Corse spoke exclusively on Sky Sport24 HD, interviewed by Sandro Donato Grosso in Borgo Panigale. On the agreement with Lorenzo. " Clearly this year all of the top riders contracts were expiring. he would be for sure but i kinda hope he stays with suzuki.. coming up and on to a new bike and helping with development is cool and the suzuki, in the short time they have been back, seems to be rapidly moving in the right direction. love to see him stick it out and hopefully be rewarded with some well deserved results

i think rins would make a great replacement,same smooth riding style and he had no problems moving up to moto 2..by the way has anyone heard the rumors that Ducati will not have the wings in 2017,i cant believe that as they have been going a lot better with them,it doesn't seem to make much difference to the other manufacturers though,if they do get rid off them it might not be the bike JL is expecting!
At the moment the issue with the wings are with the riders association (not sure what the name is) which is made up of the riders and teams. For them to pass a ruling or an agreement wont they need to have a unanimous decision. If safety is brought into the picture (which i am sure it will) it will then go to the FIM where they will then make a decision.
