Anyone know what the required sizes are for the callipers and discs? And is the 899 different? I understand the caliper bolts are M10 60mm for the 1199 1299 but the 899 might be 40mm? And the discs?

Discs are the same. 899 Caliper bolts are 5mm shorter than 1199/1299 as they don't have the 5mm caliper spacer.
Tis true...I did however ride a customer's 199 Corse this morning up the road. Must say I was surprised at how little it clattered at low revs compare to my Supersport and how little engine braking there was - very nice, possibly an 899 is the perfect bike for me!
Ok, disk bolts are 20mm long and the calliper bolts are 55mm like Joe P said they probably would be. The shank on the calliper bolts is approximately 30mm if you need that too. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Fvcking loved it....compared to my 1100 Evo motor it does not feel much more powerful up to 8k, but the wonderful thing is there was no low rpm clattering and no engine braking locking the back wheel or chucking me off my line! And a free arse heater too. What's not to like? the owner said it came with bad engine braking but he was able to adjust a setting via his dash that mellowed it. Does the 1098 have this?
