So lorenzo waves his hand and they stop the race! What a load of shite that was.. No wonder pedders looked pissed off.
To be fair it wasn't really practicable any more. Can't blame Lorenzo. It they'd carried on, there would undoubtedly have been more offs and perhaps injuries. I also wonder what it's like breaking from 190 mph in standing water with no visibility. I suppose there comes a time when it's no longer a joke. Sort of quite easy from the comfort of your sofa with a cup of coffee to shout "Get on with it, you nancy boy!". Tempting though.
To Be fair, No other rider was waving  They just got on with it. But the others are fighting for position and JL is nearly the champ.
6 of one half a dozen of the other really although I personally feel the call should be down to Dani, if he'd of waved then stop it as he's at the front and upright, it's not really on somebody further down the field having that decision (or effect on decision) wouldve been good if stoner was given the next lap at least as he'd of taken Lorenzo and cut the gap which is all the better for the championship. to be fair I like dani and Lorenzo, both seemed to of mellowed with each other and neither hold back. It'd just be nice for dani to nail a championship for a change. Next year it'll be similar I reckon, although Rossi will probably be at the battle with JL which will make things interesting and I also reckon Marquez will rub pedrosa up the wrong way..... He does me already, just something about him I don't like.
I know just what you mean. There's something hideously smug about him - although you can't deny his balls and ability. But you have to remember he's just a kid - he's only about 10 years old. It would almost be surprising if he wasn't smug. Pedrosa has got much more interesting with age. No longer a robot. And Lorenzo seems like a mature and interesting guy.
I agree. he was losing time to Stoner and Pedrosa because he had the wrong tyre on. His front was wrecked as well as the soft rear going off. he wanted it stopped to save himself losing more points to DP. add to that, the fact that plenty other riders had fallen off and race direction were letting it run. i doubt they would have finished the whole race, but there was likely time for him to either bin it or be passed by Casey plus one more lap. would have been good for the championship. JL will be a worthy champ though.
