Hi just come back from dealer pointed out to me front tyre has misshaped and needs replacing.Yes it is and worn,I have only done 2450 miles not good, the rear is fine for now.anyone else had the same problem?
Longer wheel base and lazy fork rake tends to push the front tyre especially when ridden hard. My girlfriend is on her second set and will be due soon for a third at just over 6k. Andy
The first time I rode a Diavel, the bike in question had very unpleasant handling characteristics in sharp bends. It dropped suddenly into corners as if it was falling off the edge of the tyres as it was leant over. The rear wheel also seemed reluctant to track the same line as the front. On close inspection, the front tyre had worn out of shape (bike had around 8,500 recorded miles & I don't know if the tyres were original) and the rear was squared off. I have since ridden a Diavel with new tyres on & it was a very much improven experience.
Mine has the same issue but at 3.5k ... Just changing the fork internals and then will swap the tyre ..
My 899 has this after 2k miles, really badly 'cupped' front tyre on only the right hand side off centre (camber line), going to try a different brand of tyre and getting the suspension set for my weight Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I was thinking about them myself but looking at the reviews puts me off 6/10 and 5 seconds a lap slower would be in my head everytime I got on the bike
Hmm, I got on well with them on my 848 and 675, I just don't want to get Pirelli again and the front go out of shape in 1k miles. My other option seems to be Michelins which is totally unknown for me. I have a 2 day trackday in June and I know that Sportsmarts last well, that's the other thing, it's that or suoercorsa and not worry about it and just replace them after
