  1. Very tidy and nice attention to detail.

  2. I have a very understanding wife [emoji6] I'm going to let someone else enjoy this bike as I need to make room for my 1290 GT, I just hope whom ever buys it really looks after it because in the flesh it's absolutely stunning .

  3. Bloody hell... Lovely. As punch would say... That's the way to do it.....

  4. Talking of which....

Witnessed totally disgusting behavior on the beach at Brighton yesterday. Man and woman arguing in front of a load of kids then she smacked him one on the head... and it all kicked off between them, the police turned up and the policeman ended up using his baton on the bloke but the man actually managed to get the baton off the copper and started hitting the copper and the woman with it. Then a crocodile turned up and stole all the sausages.

    (Sorry)

  5. I have to say I'm not a fan of adding stuff to bikes cos whenever I've tried it the end result always looks like a grab a granny in a mini skirt kinda look - but this my friend is what a bespoke bike should look like. Lovin it!

  6. Me likey! :yum::thumbsup:

  7. Gorgeous

  8. Pretty much what I did with mine, but I started with a red S DVT and didn't have the budget for all the carbon. Just waiting for my aux lights (although with the LEDs I probably don't need them). Since this I've had the belly pan and rear foot rest anodised black and added the small LED indicators

Dave - haven't you thought about removing all the carbon and selling it rather than leave it on the bike? I wouldn't think you would get full market value for it as part of the overall bike price?

(and if you are selling any send me a PM :) )

  9. To strip it would take the shine off the bike, not only does it have the extras you see fitted but it also has an host of extras still boxed.

The bike owes me best part of £20k after several NO shows from several promises today regarding buying it I'm losing faith plus I've now parked it in my front room that's until wifey comes home and goes crazy [emoji30], I stuck it on evilbay, ffs that was the wrong thing to do, I've been bombarded with mails with swops and all sorts of shite., i stuck it on the bay @ £16k, I had a genuine buyer @ £15.5k and now regret upsetting the fella [emoji57]

It's brand spanking new and better then if you were to go and buy a showroom bike the tyres have not even turned a wheel on the rd.

  10. Can I ask a hypothetical question ..... it's not about your bike Dave just any bike in general ...... if you went out and bought a bike riden it home 20 / 30 miles or whatever and you just didn't like it and put it up for sale how much has it lost in value now it's used albeit hardly anything ...... talk to me ...

  11. If I was looking for a pp then I'd pay 16 for that definitely...

  12. Hence my point about stripping off the carbon parts that you can sell easily, you might still get offered £15.5 for a brand new bike with the paint job?

  13. Just for the record the reason id pay 16 for something like that is threefold...

    No miles to speak of
Paint job I'm pretty sure is going to be superior to a stock paint job.
Carbon will definitely be better than ducati's

Without going back through the thread a full system?

If all the fixings have been changed (for stainless and Ti) that would make it even more appealing as my hyper is currently going through having all the fasteners refurbed...

  14. Yes full system and lots of fairing fasteners have been changed to stainless when refitting. [emoji106]

  15. I think personally its a case of finding the right person that appreciates the time and work (and money) taken....im the same myself - got a supermoto up for sale that's had a lot of time and money spent on it...not sold yet, (but I'm in no hurry) - people really do expect something for nothing these days and I'm sure some on here would argue that but that's my outlook on it.

  16. Just to add last year in fowlers there was a zx-10 for sale less that a year old with literally the entire bling catalog thrown at it and even the good stuff (forks were in the region of 4k I think, ttx rear etc etc) it was up for 16k and the salesman who I know said..."itll go eventually, it just takes the right person to come along that can appreciate whats been done to it...it was gone the next month...

Same with our car...(SMAX titanium sport) travelled to Sheffield from Bristol to collect it. When I got there the salesman said "its been on the forecourt for ages...no one wanted it because of the colour" which ironically was the reason we wanted it...when it went to the dyno the owner of the dyno place said "want to sell it, weve been looking for one in that colour and cant find one..."

  17. I think your spot on there I need to be more patient, tbh I'm also in no rush to sell apart from Im running out of space, i don't need the money so It can stay if not sold, it's hard to put a value on it taking into account what I've spent and you never get that back, theres a bod out there that will see the bike for what it is now and will love it .

It's certainly not a bike for the shy and grumpy feckers whom don't like to chat.

  18. Just be patient , it will sell :upyeah:
