Was a cracking day, and nice to go for the first time and also meet some forum members for the first time.

@comfysofa thanks for the heads up and great advice on the day.

Only down side is the friggin bike would not start at the end, which resulted in many people staring and offering to bump start it. Spoke to the guys in the riders tent and it turns out the bike dumped too much fuel I so needed 5-10 minutes.

 

Hi there - forgot to ask your forum name but now I know!! well, as I said ill (hopefully) be over CJS next Saturday probably all day watching the hyper's tank being emptied by Chris on the dyno....bring biscuits (and munchies) as Rich (louigi) always has a gripe about having the biscuit stash emptied....

 

Thanks very much to comfysofa (Andy) for leading me to Gordano at a nice brisk pace. Roads were much drier than I imagined they would be after all the rain the night before. I took the baby wipes with me just in case but didn't need them*. Had a really good weekend in Bristol and met some chums off the forum (but probably missed more). Monster Weekender in Wales next weekend to look forward to now.
BTW I spoke to the organiser (he was wearing a green sweatshirt) & I suggested the church could offer a helmet park next year, £1 per helmet & proceeds to charity. He seemed to think it was a good idea.

* until a seagull shat all over my head as I was chatting to one of the organiser's pals at the end of the day that is. Missed the bike though, thankfully.

 

Hey, without taking the piss, the forum could get the basic brand design, then you buy your forum name design A4 sheet of various sizes stickers, you know what it's like, you ask a few then give up continuing cause your feelings right twat with people's responses,
1 x top visor sticker
1 x rear helmet
2 x screen stickers
2x tail stickers
Job done
..........................

ive asked a few duke riders at the ace if they are on here and had some funny looks... its not like im asking them if they frequent xhamster ffs... ducati owners eh?
