I went for a 250 mile ride up to Route 59 cafe, Devils Bridge, Hawes, leyburn and back to Squires where I saw a lot of people pointing at my bike, The tail light had failed again and was dangling by it's wire penmouth: Son of a...... I jammed it back in and begged some sticky tape from the staff to get me home, it had been hitting the rear tyre and had melted and marked the lens, scraped the worst off, sanded the rest then got the remains of my old headlight restoration kit out and it now looks new. Just waiting for the glue to dry, the good stuff this time (proper Gorilla glue not the superglue version), and that will be re-enforced with zip ties... MOT in the morning.
There is a viscious rumour the Irish bottle old tea in empty cider bottles and call it whiskey as well.....
Chased a wiring fault on the polarisation switch of a survaillance radar... I really hate "pinkie shit" !
My quite expensive Bosch (nearly 200 sobs if I recall correctly) lasted about 20 hours usage before the main casting cracked so I bought a Titan one for c£70 via Screwfix - no problem with that so far
Haha for a while anyway, its flapping around again but i have zip ties in there too holding it in this time... And a new light in the post, that should be the end of this problem.
Hello Chizel, yea it's not a bad ride - next time turn left into Denham Village - very old English village with a couple of unspoiled pubs serving a big choice of cask beers and lovely grub as well
Today I have had my catheter removed, so I can actually pee for myself. This may not sound much, but to me it's a milestone. I have also taken a ride on a motorbike - it was only around the block, and only a 125 Yamaha, but another milestone. It'll be some while yet before I can manage a 1200 Ducati though.
lol yes mate ive been in denham a few times, got a mate that lives there and he's a bad influence!! im trying to be good!!!
Today we went to Gibraltar, because we could. Went with Bazzer from the forum, who has a very nice 999r. Weather there shit but not as shit as in the Uk. So we turned round and headed back to the sun. The most dangerous people on the road here are the scooter riders. They wanted to race us!!!!!!!!!!! Unbef'ingleavable!
I heard today that one of my friends and colleagues has lymphoma I have to say it doesn't look good. He's only just gone 40yo
